Marc Chagall's Daphnis and Chloé is a series of 42 lithographs contained in the illustrated book, Daphnis and Chloe, that was printed by Tériade Éditeur, Paris. The paintings in this series depict scenes from Greek author Longus' romantic story about Daphnis and Chloe, two childhood friends who undergo a variety of challenges and ultimately fall in love. -
