Paul Jenkins Lithograph Circa 1965
-
Description
This stunning lithograph was realized by the esteemed 20th Century artist Paul Jenkins circa 1965. It offers an energetic and ebullient abstract composition in tones of tangerine, aquamarine and lemon rendered in nearly liquid strokes that appear to have the viscosity of water. With its dynamic form and vibrant palate, this piece promises to add a pop of color and vivacity to any interior space. Its classic abstract expressionist sensibility lends it well to Mid Century Modern interiors, but it would be equally well suited in a contemporary space. It comes presented in a custom gilded gallery frame. Paul Jenkins is a world renowned 20th Century painter whose works are included in esteemed private collections, institutions and museums throughout the world including the MoMA and Guggenheim in New York City; the Tate in London; and the Centre Georges Pompidou in Paris. The print is numbered "25/35" and signed "Paul Jenkins" lower right.
