Pair of "Chinois Plaques", models 101 and 102, in patinated bronze and pewter with hand-painted colorful enamels by Philip & Kelvin LaVerne, American 1960's (signed). These are iconic LaVerne pieces.

The Art of Philip LaVerne, Sculpture III showroom catalogue published in the 1960's, a photo of these plaques is shown on page 39, description in back states, "Chinois Plaques: The unique expression of bronze and pewter harmoniously joined in a detailed interpretation of the Chinoiserie era.
