Here for your consideration is a finely executed watercolor and gouache on archival paper by the American Watercolor Society artist, Robert Dumas Barrett. The scene is along the Hudson River to the of New York City on the Palisades side of the river. Signed lower left. Condition is excellent. Beautifully matted and framed in contemporary gallery frame. Overall framed measurements are 26 by 31.25 inches. Provenance: A Fairfield. Connecticut gentleman.
Robert Dumas Barrett was born in Fulton, New York in 1903 and was known as a landscape and genre artist. He was a member of the American Watercolor Society. He died in 1984. -
