Original watercolor on archival paper of a mother and her children by the Japanese artist, Takashi Nakayama. Signed in watercolor lower left. Circa 1925. Condition is very good. Overall framed in contemporary marblized gold and black frame 16 by 9.75 inches.

Takashi Nakayama was born in 1893 and died in 1978. He was known for his watercolors of Japanese villagers performing their everyday tasks.
