Description
Rare and important Art Nouveau screen, consisting of four compartments holding lithographic prints depicting female allegories of the hours of the day framed by floral decorations, entitled respectively: "éveil du matin", "éclat du jour", "rêverie du soir", "repos de la nuit". Paris, designed in 1889 by Alphonse Mucha and signed by the artist. Solid wood and brass foil frame, pressed cardboard panels. (164x159 cm) the screen is ideal to furnish very important living rooms full of history, or classical and historical bedrooms.
