French Reproduction Louis XVI Style Queen Bed

Painted a warm cream color, this newly produced bed is made in the French Louis XVI style and features many of the stylistic details of that period. Artichoke finials cap the turned and fluted columns found at the bed’s four corners. These columns flank the head and footboards and sport roseated joinery die – a hallmark of Louis XVI furniture – as well as foliate and acanthus carvings. The head and footboards have been upholstered in a new beige and gold fabric with a tight, subtle geometric pattern. Their frames have a twisted rope and running rosette motif details found upon them. This wonderful bed is a reproduction of the highest quality, and has undergone a series of finishing processes that have given it an antiqued style that is difficult to distinguish from the genuine article! It accommodates a standard queen mattress and will become an heirloom that can be handed down across generations to come.
