A pair of unique Gio Ponti wood panels from the furniture of the Hotel Royal in Naples, 1955.
Manufactured by Giordano Chiesa by Dassi.

these pieces come from the original furnishings of the single rooms of the Hotel Royal; they originally served as a wall side panel for the suspended single bed
Good condition. Original patina.
Sold with a copy the original invoice of the Hotel Royal.
Directly from the original furniture of the Royal Hotel.
Measures: H 80, cm 207 x 42cm each piece
each panels has a wooden support in the back for fixing to the wall
very few lots available in different essences of wood in relation to the essences of the headboards of the single bed

The pieces of our same collections have been exhibited in London in Modern Design Museum and Triennale in Milan and a similar items of same collector is now in the permanent collection of the TRIENNALE of Milan.

His collection includes famous items designed by Gio Ponti as well as other well-known Italian designers such as Ico Pairisi, Osvaldo Borsani, Carlo De Carli , Carlo Mollino, Melchiorre Bega, Joe Colombo. A lot of furniture items projected by these designers were published on important magazines such as AD, The World Interiors, Elle, Domus.
