A modern rendition of the classic motif in Japanese art. The Plains of Musashino are mentioned in very famous works of classic Japanese literature and can be found in all forms of artwork. Taisho period painting (1912 - 1926) in mineral pigments on heavy gold of moon rising through the grasses with flowers. Small sized six panel screen.
