France circa 1770, solid walnut chest with bowed front, Provenance: private French castle in Le Cher, La Loire region, hard to find such a preserved piece from that time with original drawer interiors and bronzes. Each drawer and inset side are highlighted with
parquetry stringing line, the rounded corners with fluting decoration and the top made important by a pink and brown breccia pernice marble of matching shape and stepped border. -
