19th Century Swedish Gustavian Secretary With Library

Description
This is an exquisite Swedish Gustavian period painted secretary with library. Brass hardware and original locks, circa 1820. The upper section has three shelves, the top shaped and slotted for spoons, behind shaped and reeded door. The lower section has a reeded slant front. The top two drawers open to support the desk surface. There are twelve graduated drawers and a center pigeon hole all behind the writing surface. The desk surface height is 28 inches and the overall depth with the desk open is 33.32 inches.
