A Fine Louis XVI Style Gilt-Bronze Ormolu Mounted Mahogany Bookcase Bibliotheque, circa 1900
Of palatial size, this extremely elegant and lavish bookcase is carved from mahogany wood in two sections; the upper section with molded top over frieze, with gilt bronze / Ormolu scroll mounts, over twin bevel glazed doors centered by a fluted Corinthian column, flanked by fluted pilasters - with two interior shelves over two drawers. The lower section with two panelled cupboard / cabinet doors, raised on plinth base.
Very good condition. No damages noted. Like new condition. Ready to place. Comes with original key.
