Three mirrored doors can be observed to the front of the cabinet, each one separated by fluted columns. The cabinet stands on ebonised wood bun feet. Boulle work, named after the renowned Andre-Charles Boulle, the cabinetmaker to King Louis XIV of France can be observed on three of the four sides of the cabinet. Intricate designs, in the form of, for example, acanthus leaves are created with the use of the complex technique of brass and tortoiseshell marquetry. -
