Description
Intricately carved serving vintage silver jewelry buffet cabinet chest of drawers from Southeast Asia, circa 1960s. Features beautiful Chinese wood relief flowers and birds pattern throughout. The hinged top lifts to reveal a red velvet lined spacious storage area for silverware. Three red velvet lined drawers have carved intricate scoop pulls, masterfully integrated into the composition of the scenes. A storage below with double doors and brass pulls, that opens to reveal a spacious interior, that can be used as a liquor cabinet. It is supported by short curved Ming or Chow style feet. The unique tall narrow shape allows this versatile piece to be used in smaller spaces. It could also be used for jewelry or lingerie in the bedroom. The hand-carved front depicts birds and florals with scooped shell design drawer pulls.
