Description
The solid, paneled sides of each cabinet taper slightly inward over their height-- this, combined with the elegant leg tapers and haunched joinery at their lower rail connection, give each its distinctive stance. One houses a fixed shelf with a drawer and adjustable shelf behind its door while the other etagere has two adjustable shelves and space for light to enter around its back and side panels. The enclosed cabinet's door pivots on stainless knife hinges and is reinforced with dovetailed battens on its backside. Its integral pull and thin vertical recess resembles a cattail, giving the cabinet its name. Both have a hand-rubbed oil finish.
