Description
The subtle taper of the outside walls and legs of this sideboard gives it its distinctive stance. The haunched joints where the lower rail connects to the legs further emphasizes this and gives a look and feel of strength. Solid walnut throughout, the doors have a pegged top rail and dovetailed batten on the back side to ensure flatness; they pivot on fine stainless knife hinges. Behind each door is a bay with an adjustable shelf. Hand, carved pulls are integrated into both doors and drawers which are constructed with hand cut dovetails. An open shelf for display or simply utility is situated above the drawers. All is hand rubbed oil finish. It can be reproduced in other woods and/or the finish of your choice.
