Edmund Spence sideboard / buffet manufactured by Industria Mueblera S. A. Mexico in the 1950s.
The doors are beautifully executed with inset woven seagrass panels.
The cabinet is fitted with a pair of removable silver trays. the upper shelves behind the side doors can be partially pulled out the side and the center column of drawers have moveable sculpted wooden pegs that keep the drawers from accidentally coming loose..
The mahogany case and base has been lightly restored. The seagrass is in untouched original condition.
There are Edmond J. Spence brands on each of the drawers and on the wooden back panel of the case with a model number and large made in Mexico stencil.
The sideboard/ buffet is in excellent condition. -
