A small early 18th Century Red Lacquer Chinoiserie decorated Commode with a desk compartment, the hinged slant front - flip top, supported by pull-out bars left and right, revealing four open compartments above three serpentine front drawers behind a small writing surface. Four drawers beneath, bracket feet.
A perfect piece for a small room, Landing or as Bedside table, with its small, compact size, versatile use and bright crimson and gold color. -
