    A rare, exceptional, and monumentally scaled circa 1825 English Regency George IV period giltwood wall bracket or shelf of corbel form having rectangular plinth shelf above double spiral acanthus, lotus, and rope motif support. Originally used as a bust or clock bracket mounted high in a grand entrance hall.

    Provenance: Collection of Julian Wood Glass, Jr. (1910-1992) of Winchester, Virginia; New York, New York; and Tulsa, Oklahoma.
