Description
This fine Louis XVI style marble-top demilune enfilade, features a beautiful finish which highlights the exquisite mahogany. The stunning white shaped marble top rests above two center drawers mounted with laurel motif drop-ring pulls, each above a panel door. Between each drawer, a ribbed brass plate adds a bit of texture to the apron. Curved end doors with reeding add a wonderful amount of carved detail. Each drawer and door have brass trim around the panels. A single key is included for the functioning locks on the four bottom doors, the drawer locks no longer function. Flanked on both sides of the center doors are fluted pilasters. Opening the center or end doors reveals a single adjustable shelf for plenty of storage. The whole is raised on tapered and fluted legs with sabot feet. Circa 1840. Make sure to view the detailed images for a closer look!
