French 19th Century Empire Mahogany Commode

Description
This dramatic and large Empire mahogany commode, with book-matched veneers, c.1810, is from France, and features a gorgeous black marble top with rounded corners, over a conforming case having a blind apron drawer, over three long drawers with excellent round ormolu pulls. The whole rests on a plinth base with shaped block feet. Lacking keys.
