The doors and side of this piece are decorated with cork marquetry, lending it a natural texture and look. Gleaming brass feet, handles and accents highlight the sideboard superb proportions and sleek rectilinear lines. The drawers and top are black wood plated. It may be the pleasing colors and satisfying mid-century silhouette that initially arrest your attention, but it’s the beautiful, tiny details, the clear skill that went into its construction, that speak to this piece’s true quality and rarity.
