Description
In the Hepplewhite manner, an eight-drawer bowfront chest of strikingly grained mahogany. The domed pediment crown is decorated with sharply contrasting banding, lattice-inlaid center plaque, and corner turret veneer panels. Fine ovoid ring brasses, of the period. With its distinctive domed crown, this is an infrequently encountered and highly decorative English case furniture specimen.
