Sinopoli 1970s Italian Back Finished Japonisme Brass Bamboo Sideboard/Cabinet

$ 14,950
  • Description
    One-of-a-kind Mid Century Italian dresser/credenza by the Architect Giacomo Sinopoli, in rare organic solid palm wood, with a Asian style, high-quality execution with a central door, and four drawers on each side, decorated with handles that are hand-cast bronze sculptures of oriental inspiration, entirely edged with brass bands, clad in figured bamboo veneer and superbly finished also on the back so that it can float in a room and serve as a divider. Very functional storage piece as a living room sideboard or a bedroom dresser.
    This cabinet is accompanied by a letter of provenance from the architect’s niece who received this piece in this unique natural finish from his uncle for a personal recurrence.
    Giacomo Sinopoli was more into architecture but designed an exclusive documented collection in the 1970s for the Roman Company Liwan’s. His furniture pieces are unique and extremely rare on the market.
    Body height 28.5 in.
