Unusual and rare “Lacca Povera” Cabinet in two parts, Italian, 18th century (ca. 1730), pine / poplar
The upper part with two louvered doors opening to a shelved interior, bottom part with conforming louvered doors revealing a fitted and painted interior with a set of three wide drawers flanked by a deep drawer and a small cabinet space on each either side, bracket feet.
Overall decorated in decoupage technique, paper cutouts of engravings pasted to the surface and integrated into painted sceneries.
