Ornate and richly carved Italian giltwood cassone with upholstered top; deeply carved panels on three sides with floral carved surrounds; hinged top with an upholstered seat & nailhead trim; egg and dart carved motif along the bottom apron; all raised on later feet. Italy circa 1770
