Rare and beautiful pasta pantry cabinet with drawers for grocery store from the 1950s.
This rare piece of furniture is very unique indeed. It was made with fine and sturdy wood and glass.
This type of furniture was used especially by the old grocery stores to dispense bread and pasta. It has many drawers in the lower part, so modulated, to the sides a row of five drawers pr side, wider and wider, while in the middle three rows of five drawers each, all with a glass to see inside.
In the upper part there is a system that allowed the grocers to insert the pasta from the top, through two large doors with frontal opening, in a quantity ready to be sold. As can be seen from the photos, there are eleven dispenser compartments, also with glass, under which there are eleven small drawers that can be opened through a small wooden handle. This specimen is a really rare piece of furniture and for true connoisseurs and / or collectors. - More Information
