John Van Zeeland Two-Doors Cabinet - 1933
-
Description
Modernist avant-garde cabinet, designed by Belgian architect John Van Zeeland. A storage unit with art deco influences, dating back to the 1930s even though it has more in common with more recent art movements. It’s a rather avant-garde item and unique in its kind, as this piece was part of the interior of a Belgian listed building, "Dokterswoning Prové". In addition to the heritage building itself, the original furniture is also very valuable today.
