    Luxurious plinth-base credenza/sideboard in burled Carpathian elm wood with inlaid brass details and highly stylized Greek Key brass hardware designed by William Doezema for Mastercraft Furniture distributed by Charak (ca. 1970, USA).
    The cabinet has four doors with touch release latches and brass Greek Key pulls that open to reveal open storage flanked by an adjustable/removable shelf on the right and the same shelf/open storage orientation on the left with the addition of a shallow drawer with removable silverware holder insert. The two doors on either end are ingeniously equipped with spring-loaded hinges which control the movement, preventing the end doors from flying open.
    Very good, vintage condition. Wood has been conservatively refinished, and a few nicks/scuffs remain. Brass elements retain a rich, natural patina and are unpolished.
