This graphic and elegant pair of Art Deco Machine Age nightstands were realized in the United States circa 1935. They feature rectilinear bodies with stepped skyscraper style bases; black lacquer detailing circumscribing the edges; and streamlined brushed aluminum cylindrical pulls with lacquer centers. One of the nightstands is fitted with a an open compartment on the inside of the drawer. The other piece offers three drawers creating a wealth of storage possibilities. With its quintessentially Art Deco materials and forms, these pieces are sure to delight discerning collectors of the period, as well as those with a penchant for exquisite objects. They have been newly restored to mint condition.
