Possibly Attributed to Brewster Dayton (active 1755-1796)
Stratford or New Haven, Connecticut

Reference: This highboy fits into a group of furniture associated with Stratford and New Haven, Connecticut. The group was first published as such by Edward Cooke, Craftsman-client Relations in the Housatonic Valley, 1720-1800, in The Magazine Antiques, January, 1984, pages 272 – 28.
