A very rare early 17th century Swiss flachesgurtwerk manorial court cupboard having overhanging dentil carved canopy with carved underside on gothic flanges and baroque columns over shelves and spice drawers above lower cupboard with two doors, featuring elaborate flat carved strapwork (flachesgurtwerk) designs throughout, including stylized armorial crests to lower side and front panels, and retaining lovely original blanched alpine finish.
