Mid-century René Prou sycamore brass commode 1940s
-
Description
Originally intended for a bedroom, this 1940s chest of drawers imparts a cosy, glowing mood to a space. The warm sycamore maple remains looking healthy and smooth eighty years later. Solid brass handles adorn the front of the commode. Designed by French art deco designer Rene Prou, the piece feels delightfully modern for the period and charmingly vintage now. The piece has been fully refinished, and is in great vintage condition.
