This stunning streamlined Art Deco Bar/ Cabinet was realized circa 1930 at the height of Art Deco. It embodies the aesthetic and materials that true collectors of American Deco cherish. Its skyscraper style body was created from book-matched burled elm, offering a richly textured natural woodgrain. The central console opens to reveal a mirrored bar compartment, complete with a shelf outfitted with a notched ebonized slat perfect for holding martini/stemmed glasses. The central compartment is fitted with a circular plexi pull and illuminated by an elongated bulb. Flanking the central shelf are two drawers outfitted with demilune pulls. Below each are spacious cabinets- also with demilune plexi pulls- accommodating two shelves each. The ends of the piece have a streamlined cloud design, sure to delight any Art Deco enthusiast. The piece also includes brass fittings throughout. Mint restored condition.
