    Notes: descended in the family of Henry Drinker (1734–1809), a prominent Philadelphia Quaker merchant and his wife Elizabeth Sandwith. The clock resided in a Drinker family summer house located in northern Pennsylvania, which was acquired together with its contents in the 1940s together with a portrait of Mary Drinker Rhoads.
