Willy rizzo burl chrome and brass credenza 1970’s
-
Description
Rich burlwood is the eye-catching chief material in this beautiful, rare credenza by Willy Rizzo. The wood sides and top swirl and ripple into shades of caramel and coffee brown, for a warm, glossy look. Brass and chrome accents, along the clean lines of the piece, serve to emphasize the richness of the wood as well as lend a subtle industrial touch. The combination of clean lines and complex materials is chic and timeless. 183 cms (about 7 ft) of length make this credenza quite a large piece, and with seven drawers in the center and two spacious cabinets, the piece provides a good amount of storage. Ultimately, the piece is representative of Rizzo’s high-end clientele, appreciation for fine material and design, and characteristic bold style. In very good vintage condition, the credenza is high-quality piece that would elevate a contemporary space with a splash of midcentury modern luxury.
