Description
Raphael Raffel very rare and important drop front libraire cabinet featuring a body in original two tone deep green lacquer which is supported by a base consisting of two glass supports with a central bronze stretcher. The cabinet also features two side cabinets with glass doors, bronze lock plates and a interior covered in original deep purple felt and a large central area done in a tortoise shell lacquer in tones of amber, brown and honey. The central area consists of a top and bottom cabinet and a larger central cabinet. The top and bottom cabinets each have two doors with interiors in natural wood. The larger central cabinet features a drop front desk with a deep green two tone lacquer writing surface, interior cubbies, single drawer and sliding white milk glass door. France circa 1962.
