Description
Creator: US Government.
You are looking at a WW2 campaign desk that would have been used in the European and Pacific theather during the war. The desk is made from the same aluminum that was used for aircraft in the 30’s and 40’s. The green paint that you see in the drawers was all over the desk. The desk was hand stripped and polished with about 80 hours of labor in it. It is a marvel of engineering as well, being that it can fold-up into a box like formation. The lines and rivets/tack marks are amazing on the piece and will be a focal point in any home. -
