This striking table lamp is a stunning adaptation of a 18th-century gilded wood candlestick, masterfully converted for modern illumination. Rich in neoclassical influences, the piece features a gracefully tapered column adorned with finely cast details, culminating in an ornate base. The base itself is particularly elaborate, showcasing sculpted faces encircling the cylindrical form, adding depth and character. It rests on a solid tripod of lion’s paw feet, an enduring symbol of strength and prestige in antique design.

The lamp has been professionally electrified with a newly installed brass socket, mounted on a ball joint for easy adjustment of the lampshade. The original gilded finish has gracefully aged, developing a warm patina that enhances the depth of its intricate ornamentation.
