Description
19th century French green-painted copper and glass paneled lantern circa 1850-1889. Remnants of dark green and oxblood red paint over natural verdigris green and mottled gray patina and nice, large scale. Originally served as a gas-lit street lantern – now newly wired with a drop-cluster of three candelabra lights. Includes chain and a canopy.
