Description
Italian, Possibly Venice.
The pierced domed top with quatrefoil and lambrequin decoration above conforming hexagonal central section with colored glass behind arched panels separated by carved twisted columns, the underside composed of carved inverted foliate decoration terminating in a carved tapering knop final. The whole suspended by two carved foliate S-curved clasps issuing from a sheaf of palms and terminating in flowerheads. -
