This is quite a typical 1950s Finnish design ceiling lamp with some similarities to Paavo Tynell lighting fixtures. As not everyone could afford Tynells, these were quite popular because they had the quality with an affordable price. There were quite a few companies that made these kind of lamps in mid-century Finland, such as Itsu, Valinte, Orno, Idman, Taito etc. Due to lack of documentation the manufacturer of this particular lamp is unknown.
The lamp is in good vintage condition without any losses. It features five light points with newly upholstered rattan shades and some brass decorations resembling tiny springs in the middle. A simple vintage lamp easy to integrate into any interior.
The rattan shades have been renewed.
