This gorgeous and rare Art Deco table lamp is an iconic piece of American lighting design, originating from the United States circa 1935. The lamp features an original chrome-plated base with a streamlined form and polished finish, complementing the hand-painted black enamel line-work on its milk glass shade. The shade hangs as if it were a pendant from an elegant hoop of chrome, simultaneously surrounding, supporting, and framing the glass shade. Perfect for a wide array of interiors, this lamp would be equally at home in a modern setting as it would have been in the 1930s. Newly rewired to American Standards. This piece is in excellent vintage condition.
