This striking pendant light was produced in the Netherlands in the late 1940s.
The lamp on offer here was installed in the entrance lobby of the renowned De La Mar Theatre in Amsterdam. The entire interior of the theatre was designed by the renowned Dutch architect Ad Grimmon. This beautifully crafted lamp features a brass fixture, highlighted by a classic bell-shaped canopy and elegant pendant holder. At its core, a vertically reeded brass stem adds a touch of refinement, while the hand-blown, sphere-shaped glass shade offers a perfect balance of softness and structure. The shade is marbled in varying, rich tones of soft yellow and brown, creating a gentle, inviting glow when lit.
The lamp is very good original condition. The brass with a natural and even patina. Rewired for EU use.
