Description
Mid-century Italian Murano glass and ormolu chandelier
Italian, Mid 20th Century
Height 126cm, diameter 56cm
This stunning Murano glass and ormolu chandelier has been produced by Camer. It is an exquisite example of Italian mid-century design and a demonstration of the highest quality craftsmanship.
Made up of five tiers, Murano glass diamond-shaped rods are hanging on an ormolu frame. Once lit up, the light is dispersed along the glass rods, drawing attention to the exquisite quality of the piece.
Paolo Venini, an Italian designer famous for the use of Murano glass in his creations has collaborated with Camer on numerous pieces similar to the chandelier in our collection, therefore it is possible that it has also been designed by him.
Manufactured with the use of Murano glass, one of the most desirable glass types, this chandelier is an exceptionally remarkable find.
