Stunning mid century original, vintage bentwood, Danish floor lamp by Mads Caprani circa 1970s. Features pleated linen shade atop dramatic curve, bentwood stand supported by a dense black, cast iron crescent-shaped base for balance, original wiring with convenient on off step switch. Cleverly designed with pleated shade for diffusing the light creating a beautiful effect when the lamp is on. Tall, elegant and classic, providing overhead lighting that doesn’t require ceiling suspension. The stylish design with attractive profile curve, the soft bentwood curve allows the bright shade to focus the light down. Original manufacturer label (Caprani Light) branded in the cast iron base.
