Description
Carlo Nason, a visionary Italian designer, is celebrated for his innovative approach to glass artistry. Born into a family with a long tradition in Murano glassmaking, Nason’s designs combine craftsmanship with modern aesthetics. His collaboration with Mazzega in the 1970s resulted in timeless lighting pieces that continue to captivate collectors and design enthusiasts.
Design
The LT 361 table lamps are an exemplary representation of Nason’s design philosophy. Each lamp features an aluminum fixture, providing a robust base for the composition. Four meticulously crafted white crystal plates surround the light source, creating a harmonious interplay of transparency and illumination. These glass elements are securely attached to the fixture with four bolts, ensuring both stability and visual balance. The crystal plates, with their irregular texture, diffuse the light softly, offering a warm and inviting glow. The modularity of the design reflects Nason’s penchant for versatility and functional beauty.
These iconic table lamps are featured in the Mazzega catalogue, cementing their place in the history of mid-century Italian design. Their clean lines and thoughtful construction embody the innovative spirit of Carlo Nason, making them a coveted addition to any interior.
Condition
Please note that these lamps are new old stock and in pristine condition. -
