This striking tall table lamp was manufactured in France in the 1950s. The design is attributed to Charles Dudouyt. Crafted from dark stained oak wood, the lamp consists of a circular base and an intricately carved stem in a stacked disc shape. The slightly tapered shade has been renewed in a linen textured ivory fabric, distributing a soft and pleasant light. The different carved shapes of the wood illustrate the craftsmanship and originality of Dudouyt's production. The wiring has been renewed and the lamp is fully functioning. Currently with a 220V European plug and a standard E26/E27 light bulb fitting. The wood is in a very good original condition, with a natural and even patina.
