Description
This original classic Art Deco lamp was designed by Donald Deskey in 1928 and produced by Deskey Volmer in 1928 – 1931. It is in excellent condition. This lamp was even on a postage stamp several years ago. Examples of this lamp are in the collection of the Brooklyn Museum and the MFA Boston. Deskey’s collections are archived at the Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum in New York. Among his many achievements are the interiors of Radio City Music Hall, on which he worked from 1931 to 1934.
