    Decorated with a painted frieze of foliage and palmettes.
    The handles in the form of swans. Mounted on a rectangular plinth with paw feet.
    France, first quarter of the 19th century. Electrified for the UK.
    One small patch of paint loss, visible in the photographs.
    Shown with an 18" smooth silk shades available separately.
